RAPPRESENTANTI DELLA FIGURAZIONE ITALIANA SCELTI DALL’AGENZIA DI EVENTI
D’ARTE “LA MAYA DESNUDA”
Venti Artisti italiani espongono a Londra alla 3Space2 Gallery dall’11 al
20 Aprile 2015
Provengono dalle più diverse aree geografiche d’Italia e rappresentano
esempi di qualità dell’arte figurativa nel nostro Paese; sono i venti
Artisti presentati dal critico d’arte Silvia Arfelli che, da Sabato 11
Aprile 2015 alle ore 18 daranno vita alla mostra “The Rhythm of Art” presso
la 3Space2 Gallery di Londra, 16 – 18 Heneage Street, London nel quartiere
di Brick Lane. La zona di Brick Lane è oggi la più innovativa della
capitale inglese, nella quale nuove attività e siti commerciali si
mescolano al colorato e multietnico ambiente artistico, che ha favorito la
nascita di numerose gallerie d’arte proprio in quel quartiere. Un
interessante scenario accoglierà quindi i nostri Artisti, che
rappresenteranno l’arte figurativa quale unico, vero linguaggio
unificante, eredità delle grandi esperienze della storia artistica italiana
che affonda le proprie radici nelle unicità rinascimentali, e di cui ognuno
conserva tracce nella propria formazione e nel proprio operare.
L’esposizione fa parte di un progetto cominciato quattro anni fa e legato
al 150° dell’Unità Nazionale che, dopo avere portato gli artisti italiani a
Parigi e a Berlino, ha poi scelto Londra come meta di questo insolito e
affascinante tour (che giungerà successivamente a Bruxelles, cuore
dell’istituzione europea) perchè l’anniversario dell’Unità d’Italia sia il
pretesto per riportare l’attenzione dei partner europei sulla particolarità
dell’arte italiana e per aprire ad essa nuovi mercati.
Naturalmente per gli artisti presenti in mostra, la figurazione si declina
in tecniche, modi e stili diversi, ma tutti sono stati selezionati in
quanto portatori di un loro messaggio e di una proposta artistica degna
della massima attenzione: sono Emanuele Biagioni, Antonella Carraro, Mario
Castellese, Mara Catto, Lara Monica Costa, Giovanni D’Aurea, Enzo Di Renzo,
Daniela Doni, Elsi, Rosalba Ferilli, Moreno Gasparetto, Benedetto Magnano,
Giovanna Marrone, Graziella Nespolo, Giovanni Porcella, Nico Rugoletto,
Giovanni Russo, Sarhtori, Rosario Tornese, Giovanna Zabeo ; il loro lavoro
costituisce un campionario espressivo ricco di spunti ed un interessante
esempio della creatività italiana.
“The Rhythm of Art”, organizzata dall’agenzia di eventi d’arte “La Maya
Desnuda” di Forlì, sarà aperta al pubblico fino al 21 Aprile 2015 in orario
10,00 – 19,00.

THE RHYTHM OF ART: THE BRITISH CAPITAL IS ONCE AGAIN THE VENUE FOR
EXHIBITIONS FEATURING ITALIAN FIGURATIVE ARTISTS SELECTED BY THE ART EVENTS
AGENCY “LA MAYA DESNUDA”
Twenty Italian artists will be displaying their works at the Rag Factory
Gallery in London, from the 11st to the 20th of April 2015
They come from several geographical areas in Italy, all of them are shining
examples of figurative painting in our country: they are the twenty Artists
introduced by the art critic Silvia Arfelli who – starting on Saturday
April 11, 2015 at 6 pm – will be featured in the exhibition “The Rhythm of
Art? at The Rag Factory, 16 – 18 Heneage Street, London, in the Brick Lane
district. Today Brick Lane is the most innovative area of the British
capital, with new office buildings and shops melting within its colourful
and multiethnic artistic environment, which has encouraged the opening of
numerous art galleries in that neighbourood. It is thus an interesting
setting for the works by our Artists, expressions of figurative art as the
sole, truly unifying language, heir to the great Italian art history
experiences, deeply rooted in unique Renaissance features, to which each of
them bears witness in their training and production.
This exhibition is part of a project which started four years ago, to
celebrate 150 years since Italian unification; the work of Italian artists
was displayed in Paris and Berlin. London has now been chosen as the venue
for this unusual and fascinating tour (whose next scheduled stop is in
Brussels, at the heart of European Union institutions), with the
anniversary of Italian unification thus becoming a marker to help focus our
European partners? attention on the specific features of Italian art,
opening up new markets for it.
Of course, the artists featured in this exhibition have an approach to
figurative arts based on a variety of techniques, methods and styles.
However, they were all selected because they have an original message to
convey, as well as offering artistic suggestions worthy of the greatest
attention: their names are Emanuele Biagioni, Antonella Carraro, Mario
Castellese, Mara Catto, Lara Monica Costa, Daniela Doni, Enzo Di Renzo,
Rosalba Ferilli, Moreno Gasparetto, Giovanni Grottada (Daurea), Benedetto
Magnano, Giovanna Marrone, Elvio Miressi, Graziella Nespolo, Giovanni
Porcella, Nico Rugoletto, Giovanni Russo, Sarhtori, Rosario Tornese and
Giovanna Zabeo; their artworks provide an expressive and thought-provoking
sample, as well a fascinating instance, of Italian creativity.
The exhibition, organised by the Forlì-based art events agency “La Maya
Desnuda”, will be open for visits until the 20th April 2015, from 10 am to
10 pm.
